We are pleased to announce that Dariusz Adamczewski has joined Children’s Tumor Foundation (CTF) Europe as Managing Director. With a distinguished career spanning health policy, health system coordination, and European Union advocacy, Dariusz (also known as Darek) brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our organization.
Dariusz holds an MD specializing in public health from the Medical University of Lodz and a Master of Public Administration from the National School of Public Administration in Warsaw. He most recently served as EMEA Director of Government Affairs and Policy at Johnson & Johnson (J&J) in Brussels, where he led advocacy in healthcare policy across the EU, focusing on oncology, cardiology, rare diseases, and obesity. With over 20 years of experience, he has held leadership roles including Medical Director of the National Institute of Rehabilitation, Geriatrics and Rheumatology in Poland, and Head of Unit and Director of the Department at the Ministry of Health in Poland. His proven track record in designing and executing advocacy strategies, building partnerships with pharmaceutical companies, regulators, and patient groups, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve impactful results makes him an invaluable addition to our team.
As Managing Director of CTF Europe, Dariusz will work closely with the CEO of the Children’s Tumor Foundation and the CTF Europe Board of Directors to advance our mission in Europe. His responsibilities will include providing strategic leadership to all aspects of CTF Europe, enhancing the visibility and impact of CTF in the European region. He will represent CTF Europe with key stakeholders, including industry, regulators, organizations, and patient groups. Additionally, Dariusz will formulate and build partnerships and other efforts to secure funding for NF research.
