During the 2019 Volunteer Leadership Council meeting in San Francisco, CA, outstanding volunteers were acknowledged for their continued service to the Children’s Tumor Foundation. The Volunteer Recognition Awards celebrate the contributions of Volunteer Leaders in several categories from our newest up-and-comers to our most tried and true champions. Award recipients were voted on by their peers from a pool of nominations made by staff and VLC Executive Leadership.
VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR – JESSICA SAMBLANET
This award is bestowed on a volunteer who consistently goes above and beyond in their dedication to the NF cause and to the Children’s Tumor Foundation, in particular. This individual donates their time, resources, talents, and leadership to the cause without reservation and without compensation.
