I found out I had NF in 2001. I was 17 years old. I always wanted this “birthmark” removed from my arm. I went to a dermatologist to see what could be done. It was then he told me I had NF and within a week I had the birthmark, which was actually a tumor, removed. My life completely changed that day.
Having NF has affected my life in many ways but I try not to let it. I can just take each issue slowly and step by step.
I graduated from the University of Alabama. Roll Tide! You could also call me Justin Timberlake’s Biggest Fan. I work as a Project Controls Specialist for an amazing engineering firm. I have a dog (Scarlett) who is my heart and two cats (Jasper and Casper). I have also run 5 half marathons and currently training for a full.
