Volunteer Leadership Training Conference (VLTC)
July 30 – August 1, 2020 | Denver, CO
The Children’s Tumor Foundation brings members of the Volunteer Leadership Council together annually for training, networking, and in celebration of their many achievements. Join us as we pilot a stand alone VLTC which will encompass two full days and evenings of training and activities. The agenda for the conference is a combination of workshops and leadership training to enhance the skills of Foundation volunteers by providing necessary tools to participate in CTF national programs and be advocates and ambassadors for the Foundation.
NF Forum: For Patients and Families Living with NF1
August 7 – 9, 2020 | New York, NY
In response to requests from the NF community, CTF, in collaboration with NYU Langone, is hosting its first ever NF1-specific patient and family Forum. This change will allow us to expand our programming including workshops, age-related topics, NF1-specific research and treatment updates, as well as more time for attendees to connect with each other.
NF Forum: The NF2 Gathering
October 15 -18, 2020 | Columbus, OH
The NF2 gathering was a flagship event for the NF2 community for many years and CTF is excited to partner with The Ohio State University to bring this event into the future. This Forum will provide education, updates on NF2 research, with a primary focus on creating time and space for attendees to connect and socialize.
3rd Annual UCLA NF2 and Schwannomatosis Symposium
November 5 – 6, 2020 | Los Angeles, CA
CTF will partner with UCLA to support and expand the patient and family programming happening with the annual NF2 State of the Art meeting.
