CTF Europe is Hiring a CEO

Terrific opportunity for a European-based innovator ready to make an impact! Children’s Tumor Foundation Europe is hiring a CEO to provide strategic leadership, fundraising excellence, and mission focus to advance our work to End NF.

Chief Executive Officer, CTF Europe

Location: Europe – Remote, ideally in Brussels

Summary

The CEO will work closely with the CTF Europe Board to deliver the CTF mission in Europe, increase CTF’s visibility, and execute fundraising strategies. The CEO will work in partnership with the President of CTF. This will require around 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Build a clear presence of CTF in Europe
  • Establish a CTF Europe brand as an NF business and research partner in Europe.
  • Enhance the presence of CTF in Europe: Develop and execute strategies to increase the organization’s visibility and impact in the European region.
  • Provide strategic leadership to all aspects of the Children’s Tumor Foundation Europe.
  • Increase revenue by building a diversified revenue portfolio.
  • Formulate and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to support the mission of finding a cure for NF.
  • Fundraising Execution: Actively engage in fundraising efforts, leveraging personal and professional networks to secure financial support.
  • Lead Grant Efforts: Oversee the development and submission of grant proposals to secure funding for research and other initiatives.
  • Establish Partnerships: Build and nurture partnerships with pharmaceutical companies, regulators, national NF organizations, patient groups, and patient communities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in fundraising, with a track record of successful execution in Europe.
  • Experience in the not-for-profit sector in Europe, with a strong understanding of its dynamics.
  • Engaged in European philanthropy, investor, and/or in the pharma/ biotech world.
  • Business development experience, particularly in the context of non-profit healthcare.
  • Experience in biotech/pharma and the ability to access a network of connections.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in another European language is a plus.
