We are very proud to announce that the Children’s Tumor Foundation has been ranked as one of the best nonprofit organizations to work for by the leading publication for nonprofit management, The Nonprofit Times. This annual ranking is dedicated to finding and recognizing the best employers in the nonprofit industry. It takes into account a combination of factors, including employee engagement and the ability to tap into employees’ skills and diversity. This achievement is a testament to the Foundation’s commitment to fostering a strong team dedicated to the fight to End NF.
Each year, the Nonprofit Times selects the top 50 nonprofits to work for in the United States, in which CTF was ranked number 25 overall. The publication also breaks the list down by organizational size, and CTF placed number 11 among the top small organizations (ones that have 49 or fewer employees).
This is the second time CTF has been recognized with this honor, having previously landed on the top-50 list in 2018 as well.
This year’s recognition is particularly notable because of the impact that the coronavirus pandemic had on the economy and in particular on the nonprofit industry. With the generous support and characteristic resilience of the NF community, the Children’s Tumor Foundation innovated and persevered, and our mission continues unabated.
As a national organization with a global reach and presence, this past year also saw CTF take proactive steps to ensure staff were safe, supported, and connected with each other and the communities they serve, albeit in a virtual format.
The Children’s Tumor Foundation also continues to receive high marks from Charity Navigator and the Wise Giving Alliance of the Better Business Bureau for best practices and performance efficiency. This means that the Children’s Tumor Foundation is among the best investments in the nonprofit sector, both in terms of its mission and its people.
