We are at an absolute loss for words as we learn of the passing of NF Hero Jada Smoot, age 14, recipient of the 2017 Strength and Honor Award at ‘the beNeFit’ hosted by NF Forward in partnership with CTF. We share this tribute to Jada from NF Forward: “Jada was an incredible young woman with the biggest heart. She was smart, self-assured, and wise beyond her years. She was always upbeat and willing to lend a hand to anyone in need, and her infectious personality will not be forgotten. We honored Jada and her mom Nikki with our 2017 Strength and Honor award. Jada passed away on November 24, 2020 at the age of 14.”
