Stories of NF: Nathan G.

Nathan was first diagnosed with NF1 at the age of three, after experiencing balance issues.  Living with NF is difficult, as Nathan has developed a rare deformity in his right arm and has had to relearn how to do everything with his left, but has dealt with it with a maturity that even adults don’t possess. He is a fighter. He is strong. He will overcome.

Nathan has taken everything NF has thrown at him with grace and strength. He never complains. His positive attitude is infectious. His doctors love his visits as his good humor brightens their day.

Nathan loves video games. Mario is his favorite. As it is difficult for him to be active, he loves nothing more than playing Mario Kart with Mammy and Daddy. He also loves to walk; and can walk miles (while taking about video games). Nathan hopes to be a scientist and loves to know how things work. He has a particular interest in the environment and wants to come up with ideas on how to protect the planet.
