Bin Laden

I just saw on the news that Usama Bin Laten has been killed.
Apparently a U. S. missile got him a week ago and officials have been waiting for DNA results.

I know This could be bad though. He may or may not have a lot of influance anymore. However, beign a martyr means power.

I've been watching a Shia community chat board and the vast majority are happy he's gone.

OK, updaded news. it sounds like it was an up close and more personal mission by US forces that got him, not a missile.

good thing he is dead but I want proof not by Obama. They say we are going to honor his Islamic traditions for being buried. That's 24 hours after you die/killed. If we killed him a week ago why are we rushing to throw his ass into the sea for his burial. I want proof that cannot be shown to be anything but the truth. No more hiding sh--- from the public of this importance.

They say they took pictures we will see. It seems he was killed yesturday not a week ago as ffirst reported. The order was givin last week. I would not trust any pres to tell the truth. I will give more faith to the guys in the feild that killed him. It would be foolish for them to fake it he would only have to come forward and make another video. I do think we got him.

I posted on the Inspire board this morning regarding this topic. So I'll just copy and paste my post...because it sums up how I feel.

I couldn't help but mention what seems to be on every news channel this morning...the death of Osama Bin Laden by U.S. troops.

I just want to say my heart goes out of all of the families affected by 9/11 and to the families affected across the world by Al Qaeda. It appears there has been some justice for those families.

And to the U.S. intelligence and the U.S. troops who worked endlessly to see that justice was served...and to the military families left behind while they served...thank you as well.

I read a quote this morning that kind of summed up how I feel: "I have never wished a man dead, but I have read some obituaries with great pleasure." - Mark Twain.

I hope today finds you all well.
