NYC MARATHON
NF Endurance has more than 65 runners in the 2009 ING NYC Marathon. The 40th running of the ING NYC Marathon takes place on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009. Look for NF Endurance in bright neon on the course (just remember to set your clocks back one hour; the time change starts just after Halloween concludes on Saturday). Track your runners online on the New York Road Runners website. If you are in town we would love to have you cheer on our runners. Be warned: it’s crowded. Sometimes the crowds can be six to eight people deep. We are encouraging fans to be at the 12-13 mile mark in Queens and mile 18. Check out the spectator guide on the New York Road Runners Web site. We will meet as a team before the race at the Hudson hotel (356 W. 58th) at 6:30 a.m. Early enough to grab a cup of coffee, take a group photo and make it down to the Staten Island Ferry.
FALL BACK
Daylight savings time ends at 2:00 a.m. on Nov. 1, 2009. So, whether you are trying to get to the NYC starting line or meeting your Sunday a.m. running group, make sure to set your clocks back one hour before you hit the sack.
